September 13 6:30 p.m. West Entrance Plaza
Learn about the bright stars, constellations, and planets visible in this autumn's night skies, along with some of the stories behind them, in this sunset outdoor Ranger led program. Weather permitting, following this program, free telescope viewing will take place on the Entrance Plaza, with great views of craters on the moon and Saturn's rings available. The "Legends" program will move inside the Visitor Center in the case of inclement weather. There will be no access to the Museum or ride to the Top. The telescope viewing could be cancelled in the event of cloudy skies. Call 314-655-1704 on the afternoon of September 13th to check on the weather if you're not sure.
This Ranger led program will meet outside on our West Entrance Plaza at 6:30 pm, unless there is rain.
